Maintenance & Refurbishment

NIS maintenance and refurbishment department handles the maintenance cycle of our customers including preventative maintenance levels 1-5 as well as complete refurbishments, conversions, upgrades or modifications. Our services are done at our workshop but we can also support our customers on site when and if needed. Some of our recent works include:

Conversions of units from offshore to dual use land/offshore

Complete refurbishment of HD500 Triplex Pump including overhaul of all major components.

Al Mansoori

Complete refurbishment of Wireline Unit and conversion for dual offshore/land use. Unit has been modified to mount on a truck chassis with adaptors for PCE system and an embedded Pressure Test Unit for full operational capability.

Hydraulics

NIS has a full range of hydraulics services that includes in-house dismantling, troubleshooting, overhauling, re-sealing, and bench testing of hydraulic pumps, motors and cylinders tested on our own dynamic and static test benches. NIS also handles hydraulic hoses on our customer facilities with our own crimping, stripping and testing machines.

Electrical and Instrumentation

NIS handles our customers instrumentation and electrical systems including pressurized and ex-proof instrumentation, gauges, assembly of distribution boxes and re-laying entire electrical systems for all zoning requirements.

Design and install of H2S detection and emergency shutdown system embedded with Drilling Rig.

Mechanical

NIS mechanical services includes overhaul of engines, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical issues and assembling mechanical systems.

Complete Engine Overhaul for 160 HP engine.

Fabrication

Our in-house fabrication zone fabricates heavy duty structures and frames, bodies, brackets and all necessary components utilized for the oil and gas industry. In-house machines include bending, cutting, drilling and welding with certified personnel. Fabrication can be done with in-house design with module creation sheet and statement sheet.

Blasting, Coating and Painting

Our state of the art blasting and painting shop are both closed and fully ventilated with the most advanced environmentally friendly equipment installed. With each booth measuring 5m wide, 18m length and 10m height, we are able to blast and paint entire units at once.
